BIKES, BIKES, BIKES, AND BIKES. AND THEN BIKES
TO SEE OUR PHOTO GALLERIES, PLEASE CLICK ON THE "BIKE TOURS" BUTTON.
Our staff have been conducting training of one sort or another for about fifteen years. Along the way we have been a main dealer for Kawasaki and CCM.
Unfortunately, when CCM went pear shaped it had a huge knock on effect on what we were able to provide for customers, and where we once arranged off road green lane rides and supermoto days, the collapse of our supplier brought that to a halt. A move of premises and a total restructure later, has bought us to our current position of training, training, training and training.
You will see we can teach you to ride, from CBT to the Nurburgring and everything in between. We can teach you to be an instructor at numerous levels and, if you like us and we like you, we can take you half way round the world on your bike. If any of that takes your fancy, you will see a button to take you there.
If, when you opened this site, you were expecting to find out about cars or goods vehicles, click on the car and commercial button, extreme right. We conduct training for more stable vehicles too!!
ANYWAY....
Last August we went to the Stelvio Pass and everywhere else in the vicinity, riding out daily from Landeck, in Austria. We stayed at the Etzian Hotel. Look it up on the internet, and then throw away the pictures.
The hotel bears no resemblance to the photos and brochures which show an Alpine style hotel with a massive lake in front of it and acres of space around it. Well, none of that is accurate. The "lake" is a little pond and the hotel is surrounded by other buildings. So I was disappointed when I arrived.
HOWEVER, don't despair. The facilities are brilliant. Under cover for your bikes, a mechanic available most of the time, bike washing, air line, etc etc.
The food is absolutely brilliant, almost as much as you could eat, and the hospitality first class.
The rooms are nowhere near as big as the brochure would suggest and the views are no better than any other hotel in the area.
So, a summary. Take the brochure with a pinch of salt, but believe me, it is very biker friendly and you wont be racked off that you chose it.
As to Stelvio. Dont waste your holiday going up and down it. If you want hundreds of U turns, go there, but most of the other passes in the area are more fun with views just as good, if not better. Go there on your first day. It gets better thereafter.

NOT BLOODY GERMANY AGAIN
Afraid so. Well we went, yet again. This time in Mid September and as usual it was brilliant. We stayed in a very biker friendly hotel (I am not naming it as you will book it up and we will have nowhere to stay) and we took in a Rhine in Flames festival. As from next spring - 2012 - we are running long weekends there. Give us a bell if you want to ride your bike on smooth, fast roads with little other traffic. If you dont want to come, clearly you are under the thumb, and its time you chose between your bike and your partner. There should only be one winner - unless you bring a pillion of course.
But then again, why not?
If you are starving to death the food is okay but its hardly the culinary capital of Europe. Then again, we dont go to Germany for pork scallops and French Fries, we go because the roads and the scenery are stunning.
As a friend of mine said on our last trip "It this gets any better I wont be able to take it" Then he fell off his bike.
Give us a shout if you want an spring outing. When we mentioned an outing to Ross, (one of our trainers) he said "Leave me alone. I'll come out when I am good and ready"

AMERICA OR BUST. (depends what sort of bust I suppose)
Start a list of 50 things to do on a motorbike before you die. Then remove every one which involves a sex act. That leaves just the one then. And this is it. Get yourself a bike and ride it across California. The end. It really does not get any better than this. Check out our West Coast USA Tour for more details.
